Clubs and societies

Students at Tinana have access to a broad range of co-curricular activities inclusive of

• Sustainability Program – working with key school partners to address sustainability issues impacting locally, nationally and internationally
• Instrumental Music Program – learning and performing in Choirs, Strings, Band and Recorder groups for school and community events
• Sport – students playing in school teams across all school sports and accessing representative pathways
• Chess – Playing and competing in Official QLD interschool chess competitions with representative opportunities, forming the Maryborough Kids Chess Club in 2018
• Coding and Robotics –Coding and programming robots to compete in the Maryborough Technology Challenge and STEM Fest
• Wide Bay Readers’ Cup (Yr5/6) and Maryborough Junior Readers’ Challenge (Yr3/4) reading competitions
• Fraser Coast Schools‘ Mathematics Challenge
• Student Council Years 4-6
• Love of Literature (LOL) Club
