SUSTAINABILITY LEADERSHIP CRITERIA
To be considered as a Sustainability Leader at Tinana State School students must display the following characteristics of an effective leader.
  • Demonstrates pride in the school by always wearing their full school uniform
  • Consistently works well with others and displays teamwork skills
  • Shows initiative and positively influences other students
  • Always willing to participate in school activities to the best of their abilities
  • Shows respect to all members of the school and community
  • Can be trusted at all times
  • Abides by the Schools Responsible Behaviour Plan
  • Upholds rules and values of the school.The Sustainability leaders will work collaboratively with sustainability squad and school community to research, take action and address the school on areas that will help their school community achieve greater environmental sustainability.  They must prepare a speech to answer the following questions.
Why do you want to be Sustainability Leader? 
How do you think you will improve the sustainability of our school? What have been some of the activities/events that you’ve been involved in during your time at TSS that demonstrate leadership qualities?
What are some of your strengths in relation to being a leader? Explain why you think this?
Name one sustainability leadership goal that you’d like to achieve this year? Explain why you chose this goal?
