Details
· Keep your
personal information safe.
· Never give your
real name, address or phone number to anyone you do not know in the real world.
· Use a
nickname or avatar when you are online.
Cyberbullying
· Tell a
responsible adult if you see something online, that upsets you.
· Teasing or
being mean is not cool and could be cyberbullying. Be nice when sending
messages.
· Make sure online information about you is
as positive as possible.
· Look out for
yourself and for others.
Social Networking
· Make sure
you have a grown-up’s permission to use a new site or app.
· Think before
you post photos online – You cannot control who sees it or shares it.
Internet Use
· Hide your
password.
· Share your
password only with your parents - never with your friends.
· Someone else
could go online pretending to be you and do something that could get you into
trouble.
